4g63 to 4g64 swap

Ik this thread is old but I’m a former 3g guy an as far as the cylinder heads go get one off of a 05 sonata it bolts right up without any plugs it’s the same head cast as the evo 8 but you do have to play around with the thermo housing

Sonata's are not DSM compatible engines it's on the wrong side of the car transmission is driver side while 1-2G are passenger side intake and exhaust would be backwards on a DSM.

My apologies I didn’t know I would have thought they would have been the same side as evo8 3g an 420a
