4G63 Piston Ring Comparison Turbo/Non Turbo

Guys, I've had several sets of piston rings laying around for quite some time now. I been wanting to get rid of some of them for quite some time also! But, most of the part numbers relay back to the NT 4G63 which lead me to do some comparisons between the two.

Here are the part numbers between three of the different sets I have:

MD140923: 90-92 Turbo Piston Rings
MD144245: 90-92 N/T Piston Rings
MD195867: 92-94 N/T Piston Rings

Please note that the dial calipers I used measure off by -.001". So all numbers seen in pictures subtract .001". So let's just say the measurements are +/- .001" I'm going to list here the measurement seen on the dial as this is a comparison after all.

First up, MD140923 90-92 Turbo Rings:

1st compresson ring:
Thickness: 0.047"
Width: 0.125"
Diameter: 3.318"

2nd compression ring:
Thickness: 0.058"
Width: 0.150"
Diameter: 3.318"

Oil control top/bottom rings:
Thickness: 0.020"
Width: 0.090"

Oil control middle ring:
Thickness: 0.108"

Next up... MD144245 90-92 NT Rings

1st compresson ring:
Thickness: 0.0"
Width: 0.0"
Diameter: 0.0"

2nd compression ring:
Thickness: 0.0"
Width: 0.0"
Diameter: 0.0"

Oil control top/bottom rings:
Thickness: 0.0"
Width: 0.0"

Oil control middle ring:
Thickness: 0.0"

Ok I'm not quite done with this but I'm out of time for today and I'll finish it tomorrow and add pictures!! Yay!!
