4g63 headache

ok! first off, I'd like to say thanx to all you guys on this page ,with all your insight and wisdom. I'm new and not that new to the site. I've got some issues with my talon . I bought a cylone 4g63, had it installed , Figured out (thanx to you guys)how to get the cyclone to work.It's a federal emissions,so it varied slightly from ho chee inns set up and it was working well, I've got an oil leak that won't go away. It's by the oil filter housing, more like by the pressure relief valve on the housing. I've had the oil pump/front plate off cleaned it up,put a new gasket and sealed it. My balance shaft seal was the culprit twice, leaving me stranded . bought a new front plate but it didn't match the filter housing. can anyone help?

Did you make sure the big bolt behind the oil filter is tight?

in answer to this very old message, the mechanic that did the install recommended that i replace the oil pump. fair enough, so he orders one from summit racing, finds out it doesn't fit, You guys will love this. puts the old one back on . when he put the old one back on he siliconed the crap out of it clogging up the oil passages. no wonder i had a constant leak
