Winnipeg,
I have an automatic GST Spyder with 92,000 or so miles.

It’ll be driving fine then all of a sudden the motor cuts out, all the cluster lights die. However all the accessories (windows, radio, etc) still work fine. You can keep cranking it and having it turn over during this period without it starting, then all the lights will appear on the cluster (while in run position) and you turn it over and it starts. This usually takes a few minutes to happen.

This all started a few months ago when it would take an extra long time to fire one turning over.

Ideas??? I’m stumped! Runs perfect when it runs!

It’s mostly stock, with the exception of a turbo timer and stereo which its had for at least 5 years.

Is it only having this issue then when the car is warm then? Seems so since it takes a few minutes before it starts back up and dies while driving. Does it ever not start at the beginning of the day?

I cleaned all the battery terminals awhile back, along with all the fuel pump ones.
Right now the cars parked and not firing period and just cranking and turning over endlessly.
