420a on engine stand

I am trying to put my block onto an engine stand but I only see 3 places to mount it to the stand on the transmission side. How do I do this do I use the other side or what. Can I just use 3 bolts. Please help trying to do this right now.

Yes. Those stands can hold a fully assembled V8 with 4 bolts. So long as the bolts are tight and threaded deep enough, 3 bolts will be just fine.

There is one more mounting point but its on the bedplate so when you start to reassemble the engine and put the bedplate back on you can add the 4th bolt if you want before you put the head on and things start to get heavier.

Just thought of this thread as I was transferring engine to engine stand, so I thought I'd post up a pic;

She'll hold the whole engien problem and you can do the bed plate while she's bolted up like this.
