Morning I got a 420a recently install a 4 to 1 header, I'm planning of changing piping size , any ideas 2 ½ ? 3 ½ ?:dsm:

what size do you want? You already have an exhaust system or is it just stock?

2.5" is plenty big for N/A applications. 3.5" is too big for any application on a 420a. If your going turbo get a 3" now and just deal with the loss of power till you go turbo (This way to dont have to buy the exhaust piping twice). If your staying N/A get 2.5".

go with 2 1/2 inch if you are staying N/A or going turbo without building the motor up to handle over 8 psi. you can also get a used gst cat-back.

im stock n/a not planing going turbo soo 2 1/2 ?:rocks:

If you plan on going turbo just put a 3" on now. You will actually loose power with such a large pipe on N/A, but its better then buying a 2.5" now and then when you go turbo buying a 3".

Ya 2.5 is good and with a gst muffler. It wont be too loud unless you want a louder car then get a fart cannon
