Intercooler piping for 420A

This may sound like an off the wall question, but, just how many of what types of bends do I need for intercooler piping, and where do I find them. I have my whole engine in and the intercooler piping that came with my kit was COMPLETELY wrong. I have no U bends and not enough couplers. This could be helpful to others with the same problem in the future. Thanks guy I really need to get these tomorrow or the next day at the latest.

Okay noone wants to post, What does everyone else have, how many couplers and how many of each bend? My intercooler has a core on either side so the piping has to wrap around both sides of the front bumper. Please let me know.

Get creative. I know 2 U-bends and 1 straight pipe should do it. I pieced mine together using the plumbing pipes for a SMIC and extended/cut some sections to make it fit. If you don't have a welder offhand, go to the local shop and give them $20 to do it on their break or something. That's what I did, atleast. You've got to flex your resources when making things work, well, in this situation atleast.

I'm sure most of us here with custom kits just did the piping on our own...you can't just ask us what bends you need. I did mine with an ebay kit made of just 90's, that plus the sawzall equals fun.

I have a custom kit too, when I said it didnt come with mine I meant that when I bought a lot of piping it had no U bends, I think I will drop another $60-70 in another set with U-bends. Thanks guys.

I used to 90* couplers off the intercooler, and 2 90* bends, a 45* bend, and a straight pipe. I also used my short ram intake for the top pipe. Also, however many couplers you need to connect all those pipes.

If your interested, I can post some pics of my piping from my eclipse. I just have to find them haha.

You dont have to have any U-bends. Not to mention, if your stuck on having some then you can buy them seperately for alot less than 60-70 bucks.
