4000 rpms?

ok so i went to the drag strip friday night and it was hell. i snapped my driver side half shaft, and now for some reason my speedonometer doesnt work and when i give it a good amount of throttle in first and second gear it cuts out at 4000 rpms. any suggestions?

for got to metion its a 98 gs-t and i replaced the half shaft also

Sounds like your speedo cable may have come loose (check the back of your gauge cluster, and the other end on the transmission) and the 4,000rpm issue sounds like you've developed boost leaks while you were pushing the car down the track.

well i fixed the wire for the spedometor and drove it and the rpms at 4000 stopped to.. WTF??????
