3G ecu

I plan on doing a 3G ecu swap in my 2g so I can use evoscan and ecuflash because I'm tired of the safc I'm running I found on today but it's an automatic can I use the auto ecu or do I need to find a 3G manual ecu been looking around can't seem to find the answer all the help is appreciated thanks guys

I know this doesn't answer your question, but why not just go with a black box DSM (98-99) ecu? They are flashable and made for our car to begin with.

I found a 3G ecu for like 50 bucks in working condition But if I was to get a black box would it be the same have to use a manual ecu?

The 3g auto ecu wont work I can tell you that right now, it wont even plug in because the 3g has the tcu built in to the ecu.
