Im getting ready to purchase a new turbo and can't decide between the two.
I want to have 400-450AWHP on pump and 500-600HP on race. have almost all supporting mods needed. ALL thats left is the turbo. Now I now the 35R is proven again and again, but the new BW300 seems to be turning some heads. I want good spool and some say the BW300 wil spool faster than the 35R. I like to try new things,so I would be willing to try the BW. It will have a t3 flanged hotside as thats the type of manifold im using. I also want to now what would be the more reliable option? I know the BW is non ball bearing, and could take a bit more oil pressure, but on the other hand ball bearings create less friction. It would be cool to see a BWunit with MAP groves and ball bearing. Anyway just want to see what everyone thinks. Also haven't decided on a A/R yet.

The BW S362 is very close to the GT35R. I have seen 660whp and 599ftlbs on race gas (little over 500whp on pump gas) with a T3 .85 a/r S362. IT was on a SRT4. Bullseye has a new turbine housing for the S300 series. It is a T3 undivided .70 a/r with a 3" v-band outlet on it. It should be a KILLER street/strip setup.

So your vote I take it is for the S362... what rpm do you think itwill spool at? I was hoping no more than 4500-5000. 5000 is a bit laggy though. does anyone know who has the best deals on them? I could have got one for 1250. should have.

Also IPT I se your from des moines, Is there any shops there as I live 30min away.

I vote for the S362 in the .70 undivided housing (unless you wanna run a divided manifold). I have the S258 in the .70 and I'm seeing full boost in the mid 4s, you should be right under 5k. A 35r on a 2.0 won't see full boost before 5k in most cases unless it's in a small AR bolt-on housing. PM me for info on where to get a BW.

based on this, GT35r

How is that helpful?
I plan to upgrade them someday.
Most dsmr's don't upgrade those til last..sad yes but its a dsm thing.

Now is there any other parts above that may not be enough for my goals...and Im really leaning to towards the BW S362. I think it would be perfect. How much abuse can they take?? I know they are pretty new so I ask that with caution. Where would you feed them oil from...head because they're not BB or housing regaurdless. Do they need a inline filter? or is that cheap insurance like arps are? Are they at all cooled by coolant? and how will my EVO mas behave with the inlet? I've heard of some tubos crushing the karmin vortex honeycomb?

Thanks for the responses so far.
