can the 30r t3 housing be used on a 35r turbo?

the 30r back housing is a .82 and the 35r back housing is a .63

What exactly are you saying, you have a 30R turbine housing thats .82 A/R & a 35R turbine housing that .63 A/R & you want to know if you can use the larger A/R housing from the 30R on the 35R? If so, yes it can be done (as far as I know) but won't be a direct bolt on. 35R is a larger turbine wheel, so in order to make it fit the 30R turbine housing you need to have the housing machined to accept the 35R wheel.

The part numbers don't seem to be the same... so it won't be a direct fit, unless you machine it.

Scroll down to Turbine Housing options on both of them.
