1G 3000GT brakes

Ive been told i can bolt on 3000gt VR4 calipers on my 90 TSI. can i?

It is not a bolt on if that's what you're asking. SL brakes are a bolt on but no matter what anybody says they are not the same as 93-94 AWD brakes. They are very similar and the rotors are the same. The calipers are slightly different. It's the piston size.

see what i was told is if i get the brackets and calipers and the right size rotors its a good upgrade.

As I already said the vr4 brakes are NOT a bolt on. The SL brakes are.

VR4 calipers are 4 pot, they're pretty massive. The n/t calipers are 2 pot similar to the GSX calipers.

Almost anything is an improvement over the 90 brakes. The dual piston calipers are a simple swap and a nice upgrade, couple them with stainless steel brake lines and some good pads and your set for most non roadracing needs.
