I want to know if it is possible to run 3" intercooler piping on a 2G short route kit. I want to know if anyone has done this before. i was checking for room today and notice the hole I cut has frame on the left and radiator on the right so it's not like I can just cut out more metal. This is for a 2G using a ETS or VRSF style short-route kit.

I know that i'm not directly helping you and i can't answer your question but i do have some interesting information i came across the other day. I ordered a whole ton of parts from Tim Zimmer "Twicks69" on here
Anyway i got to asking him about whether or not to upgrade to a 3.5" ETS kit with 3" pipes and all that for a goal of 5 to 600 whp.

He is using a 24x12x3 PTE core that's nearly identical to the punishment core in size(29x11x3) with 2.5" piping. 60mm throttle body. He is the maniac making over 1,000 awhp
So yea, 3" may be better but i couldn't imagine you shooting for north of 1,000 horse.
