I searched and couldnt find this answer.

I have a lead on a 4 bolt rear, the owner of the rear doesnt know if he has one part for the swap...but he does have the diff, cups, axles. The part he is not sure of is this;

My question is, is this part the same between the 4 and 3 bolt diffs? Will the 4 bolt mount right up? Can I use the one currently bolted to my 3 bolt rear?

The one from your old 3-bolt setup will work just fine for the 4-bolt rearend. The only thing it does is bolt up to the rear diff cover with two bolts which are the same on both. If you have the diff, axles, and axle cups you're good to go.:thumb:
