2nd Gen?

I am looking to put the engine ;-) from my laser into a 2nd gen dsm. I would like to know which dsm you all would recommend I get for the swap, I would like it to be awd. I have been looking around, but I can't decide on what year to get. All and any help would be great.

95: cheaper and they come with eprom ecu
96: no real benifit
97: more expensive, newer trim style
98: just like a 97 more $$
99: $$$$, best condition

I doubt you want to put the "motor" from you laser in .

You would have to swap the harness if you wanted to use your old ecu im pretty sure.
