2nd Gen Motor Swap Advice Please

I am looking to put a 1g motor in my 98 gs-t can someone give me some helpful hints or advise. I know this has been asked before just cant find it. Thanks

Be very familiar with Murphy's Law. Use the 2g spacer plate. Don't drop just any old 1g motor in. Make sure that if you're going to spend the money you grab yourself a 6 bolt. Remember, you'll be replacing your flywheel (that whole 6 bolt 7 bolt thing....).
And most importantly be very familiar with Murphy's Law.

The tranny will be coming with it.

It may be coming with it, but it won't be going in your car. The mounts do not match up. Even if they did though, the 2nd generation is stronger than the first.
