And I was in a pick up truck. You can't use that as an excuse not to come. See you there.

I requested off work so Ill most likely be there and I might bring down my buddy with his gsx.

sounds awesome. The more I think about it, the more excited I get. And to think 2 years ago this was just a thought of mine, and now it's the biggest meet of dsms in the north east. LOL.

James

That would be sick if so. I just talked to my buddy whose into dsm's and he says he knows of 16-20 he can bring. LOL. wow. I might need to rent two lots. Im getting the lot tomorrow BTW.

I've managed to talk Cyclonekid77 into driving his Laser out to the meet... Actually, it took no effort after showing him the pics from last year and telling him food and a DSM swap meet was involved. I can't say right now if mine will be together by then or not. Regardless, we will be there pending no large failures. Currently, we are looking great right now for making the trip in one car at least.

Helluva drive. I drive to Columbus and it takes me a good 6.5 to 7. I bet its gonna be close to that for you.

Great, can't wait to see Ohio represented.

It's going to be almost 6 for me just north of Pittsburgh. And who says DSMs aren't good for long distances? :D

So who's going to drive down the PA turnpike helping broken down DSMs? ROFL I know I'll be packing a decent tool box with all the usual "long haul" items.

Excellent Jim!! By the way, send me a picture or two of his valve cover installed when you get a chance.

I'll have to send the pictures next week. I didn't have the camera yesterday when he put the cover on and I don't think I will see him until I get back. It really set things off under there.

Yeah, I think the drive will be worth it. I figure we will be 8-9 hours on the road depending on how long food stops take etc. Columbus is about an hour and a half from me.

Great, can't wait to see Ohio represented.

Can't wait to represent Ohio! Only wish I was bringing my car... Cyclone's is well maintained and I don't think it will have one problem during the trip, all though we do plan on bringing spare alternators, belts, etc. and parts for the swap meet!

My whole tool box will be put into a duffel bag and is coming with, along with all the spare parts and fluids. ROFL

So, since people wanted to be so generous with donations, i was thinking that once we hit 100 bucks., the extra 20 i will use to give the person who came the furthest $20 in cash for the way home. Sandra did this last year. I will do it this year. Need proof though.

Nice, I have off that Friday. I can get the car all cleaned up before we get a cruise out there. I have completely blocked August 8th off my calendar. Unless my car blows up, I'll be there.

And it's a 5 hour drive from Pittsburgh, PA. For the Pittsburgh people, would you want to cruise Friday night and stay out there over night, or cruise Saturday morning at the butt crack of dawn?

I'll be there for sure unless i cant figure out why my car is eatting ALT belts, anyone one have any ideas?

I'll have my GPS to log my miles LOL (that should be proff enough LOL) or ill drive around the block a few times before i leave :sneaky:

Yea. Last year we started around 10ish. And most people rolled out by 430. I think thats when i left. The majority of people got here by 11:30. I would say 10 we begin. We have the pav. from 8 to 8. So whenever basically. If anyone wants to stay in the area and chill in Philly or around the area, i would def do that. Go out to a bar or or something to chill afterwards.

Oh. And don't void anyone out yet. Jim from ohio may be the furthest yet, but who knows. Maybe we will get someone from Maine, or Ct, or Carolina. LOL
