I'm planning on getting a 99 Eclipse GS. I'd love to upgrade to the GS-T or GSX, but I'm not paying for the car so no turbo for me. I was wondering what kind of mods I could put into this car. Nothing too pricey, so anything like an aftermarket turbo is out. I won't be racing or anything, I'd just like to have a little extra power under the hood. And yes, I'm a total noob, so I apologize in advance. Thanks guys.

Great 2nd mod for the price

Good 3rd mod - increase exhaust airflow

Exhaust Header
Decent mod to increase exhaust airflow

High-Flow Catalytic Converter
Increase exhaust airflow

Port Intake Manifold
Increase intake airflow

Bore Throttle Body
Minor gains for the price to increase airflow

Apexi S-AFC
Air/Fuel Tuning - will require some gauges & dyno time

Camshaft Gears
Adjust engine timing

Camshafts
Change valve lift & duration

2.2L Stroker Kit
Expensive.. but next to a turbo kit, largest gains.

Turbo Kit
Hahn & Star are the most common - 300+ hp
