2gb Eclipse Bumper with Eagle Logo

What's the best way to get the Eagle emblem off of a 2ga Talon and put it into a 2gb Eclipse bumper and make it look stock. My front bumper is cracked and I need a new one, and I love the 2gb Eclipse front end, so I want to put that on my 95 TSi AWD, but I don't want a Mitsubishi Talon. I know I'll need new lights and a new hood, but I want the Eagle logo to flow right into the car. Any suggestions?

It'll take some filling, as the Mits tristar is sunken-in and is larger than the Eagle shield. And, filling a flexible bumper has its own challenges in getting it to not crack out.
Finding an Eagle logo can be quite the challenge, as well.

Couldn't I use the one off of my current bumper? Or, what would I fill the sunken in part of the Mitsu bumper with to just make it a clean bumper without any logo?

You can buy an aftermarket stock bumper that doesn't come with the logo in it. I don't know the name of the vendor, but I've seen em.Why would you need a new hood? Hoods the same.
You will need 2gb lights and a 2gb bumper, and an eagle logo and like defiant said, this may be a challenge. I wonder if chrystler still has these.

Someone i know bought a 2gb bumper and it didnt have the stars in it, just a tri-angle, i'll ask him when i see him where he got it.

PS.~ my eclipse is logoless on the front, don't know if it was filled in, or if its a non OEM piece. I like the no logo look, smooth

Got my 2gb eclipse bumper off of ebay. It has no logo and a big triangle in place.

I would love to do a 2gb talon front, but they are so damn hard to find, everyone wants a 2gb eclipse bumper and i want a talon bumper, .

I want a 2gb Eclipse bumper, but I want to keep the Eagle logo so that I'm not doing an Eclipse conversion. Also, I'm pretty sure that you need a new hood in order to fit over the 2gb Eclipse headlights. Othewise they won't quite sit right. Can someone confirm this?

The 2gb Eclipse headlights are just shorter in length than 2ga headlights. The hoods are exactly the same.

So I would need the hood and headlights, and the foglights too. Would the harnesses for the lights all match up?

No, you wouldn't need the hood. All 2g hoods are the same; it doesn't matter if it's 2ga, 2gb, Talon, or Eclipse.

The headlight harnesses are also the same and shouldn't need to be modified in any way.

is this what your looking to do? Just take your time and if you do some practicing you should be fine. But like defiant said, filling a flexible bumper has its own challenges in getting it to not crack out.

That exactly what I was looking for. The first Talon on that page, that is. I tried to attatch the photos but I couldn't. What would one use to fill the flexible bumper?

I just got a 2gb eclipse bumper for my 2ga talon and it has the indent triangle in the middle. I'm just wondering if i could buy a mitsubishi emblem off ebay and it would fit there or is there any other way to cover this up.... thanks

You could always just cover it up w/body filler and have a plain front bumper...

I've also seen it where they've cut out that triangular piece, meshed it, and that looked pretty nice itself also.

2GB Talon bumper is awesome, it's stock but so aggressive looking, I would never trade it for an eclipse, but that's just me.. I know a guy who machines eagle and mitsu emblems from aluminum at least I think he still does, they look sick polished up, much nicer than stock.. he's on vacation right now, I just noticed when I went to look, I'll see about it when he gets back, I think I want one.

I think the ebay ones usually are just an empty space. I too have been looking everywhere for the 2gb talon bumper.. junkyard around my way wants 400$ for one..its crazy..
