I've never felt "safe" in my car, it breaks down so often I'm prepared for it to break down. I know one thing, I will never take the vehicle on long road trips.

Also, 109k miles... don't feel safe, mine didn't walk until 132k

Thanks, now I feel even less secure in my talon :D

Really, I wont feel safe then LOL. Once it hits 109k LOL then I will feel safe
You makey no sensey, I thinky you no comprehendy. The point was... just because the OTHER guy had made it to 109k with no crankwalk, that doesn't mean he's out of the woods yet. I then was stating that mine didn't start showing signs until it hit 132k. If you need any further explanation, then just call Ryan or Seth and I'm sure they could send Marissa over to help you.

heh, it's cause I had a little too much to drinkie, I must have had the numbers all screwed up in my head before I was able to respond, I wont feel safe until 132k:dsm:

I like the 2Gb front and the 2gA rear so i put a 2gb front bumper on my 96 gsx and called it good...:)

Flawless. :thumb:

I like them both equally, but for different reasons. The 2GA feels more classy and understated, but the 2GB looks more aggressive. Both are winning designs, personally.

I voted 2gb for a few reasons. In my opinion, the 2gb eclipse/talon are both very good looking cars right out of the box. They are very overplayed in the community, but for a reason. Also, the 98/99 engine blocks seem to be a way better version of the 7 bolt. The interior color combos on the 2gb's are also way better imo. Just my opinion, but that is why I voted the way I did.

I don't think you'll get any argument about the interiors.

The only significant difference with the 98-99 block is the use of thrust washers, which are thought to reduce the chance of crank walk. Otherwise it's no better or worse than a 95-97 block.

For Eclipse, the 2gb looks best. But the side skirts are plain and the rear end looks odd. The front bumper does look good, but is seriously overplayed. Its far from a unique factory look now days.

For Talon, 2ga looks best. The bumpers/skirts are stylish yet not overly aggressive. The 2gb front bumper looks like they tried too hard to create an aggressive look. The thong spoiler is also kind of weird.

This is my old 96gst look at that beautiful shiney smile. :hellyeah:

I like 2ga because its sleeper status cops dont mess with me. People dont reconize it being a turbo model untill its to late. Unless of course your familiar with the grey ground effects it looks like your normal gs or rs model. Plus I debadge my cars. Im about to get another clean 95 gst with smiley face.

2ga all the way! 2gb is so over played, only thing I do like about the 2gb is the rear knuckles for extra clearance for wider tires. But the 2ga is such a sleeper and looks so smooth and refined!!!

I say it depends on the angle. Straight on I don't really like the 2ga. But from a side view or an angle, it looks pretty aggressive.

My favorite combinations has always been 2gb eclipse front, with 2ga twisty sides kirts and a 2ga thumbnail.
