Long story short. My 2ga talon of 15 years was in an accident. After getting many body shop quotes in the $$$$ range I decided to buy another roller and move ALL my stuff from one car to the next. My new body is a 2ga eclipse. I had intended to just move the drivetrain but after some inspection of the donor car I've gone ahead and COMPLETELY moved the engine harness AND the entire dash harness from the talon to the eclipse. Keep in mind I have both cars side by side and they are absolutely complete. Now on to my question:

I understand from research that the the rear bumper bracket will need to be relocated from the old car to the new in order for the lights and bumpers to fit properly. That seems pretty straight forward.

My question is that if I take the entire rear brake harness from the talon and put it in the eclipse, along with the flasher plug under the dash, will I need to run this additional wire for the lights to function properly? OR...do I need to move the body wiring from the dash all the way back to the trunk AND move the harness from the talon's tailights over as well? At this point I've pretty much gutted both cars and cut my hands all to hell so moving one more harness isn't really a big deal.
