Installed a walbro no afpr to test it out. Car idled fine. Took it out and did a wot pull (12-13 psi) and no problems. Turned around to come home and it starts bogging and stuttering. Only Maybe 6 psi max of boost. Open up the tank and the pump is fine just the sock came off. Also on this pump the rubber isolater would not fit so i zip tied the pump to the hanger assembly. Could this have cause a problem? The pump touch metal itself? The sock coming off? As i said the first two pulls were fine.

Installed the oem pump and it drives fine now. Just curious as to whether its the pump touching the hangar with no isolator or the sock or just flatout too much fuel.

Theories??!!!

Also had a shop do a reflash and the cel light is my knock warning and factory boost gauge knock count. On stock pump i was getting 3-6 counts of knock at 17 psi cause of spike. Went to just wg pressure with a spike of 13-14 and still get a lil knock looks like 3 counts. The weird things is its random. After the 255 on the good pulls i recieved no knock except at the shift to 3rd wot. Sometimes it does sometimes it doesnt. I though maybe the pump would solve it since it was maybe lean. I also get low rpm no boost knock between 2-3k rpm at part throttle. Looks like 10+ counts. Then it goes away. After pump none of this existed. I dont know if the shop did a shitty flash or if its phantom knock. Any help is appreciated.
