Resolved 2G turbo coolent lines

I had to put a new turbo in my car and I didn't pay attention to what coolent end on the motor went to which side of turbo. Can anybody help me out on this one?

The ports on the turbo itself don't actually matter as coolant simply passes through the core of the turbo to cool it. It will feed and return either way it is hooked up. The previous coolant lines should be sized to reach one port and not the other much like the radiator.

Front coolant passage is connected to the water pipe, the rear coolant passage is to the thermostat housing. You could eliminate the coolant to the Turbo by buying the water pipe plug from extremepsi.com and putting a decent size bolt in the coolant hose to the the thermostat to prevent coolant from leaking everywhere. Just remember to idle your car for a few minutes after a hard ride to prevent the oil from burning into the Turbo causing your to replace it again in the near future but better safe than sorry.
