2G Talon TSI Interior Light problem

Hey all,

Im having an issue with my talon.

when the doors are open, the interior lights don't come on.
but sometimes if i get lucky they will suddenly come on, but when the door is shut and reopened they stay out.

any thoughts?
all other lights work fine

Check the push-in switch where the door closes, not sure what you call it, you will know what im talking about though.

Try taking the switch out (one screw), clean.it and reinstall. the screw grounds the sensor it, if its loose it won't work. StreetTunedMotorsports has them new for a low price if you need it replaced. good luck!

Try this and if it still doesn't work ou can always go to your local junkyard and pull one, I got mines for like $3

One switch was seized shut so i freed it up and its working, the other side was just dirty.
interior lights working great. thanks guys!

im haveing same trouble but on 95 eclipse gs the kid who had the car before me ran the amp wire inside the door the cutting the door stop (that really hurts when its windy ) but anyways the lights dont come on and around my key whole the green ring dosent light up it did a few times but no more and the floor lights i see yellow nub things no bulbs though any ideas ?

I have the same problem. Sometimes my door lights will work but most of the time it won't. And the ring around my key also only works every once in a while
