2g talon tsi problem!!! Help

So I was driving my car and went to 4k rpm's heard a noise by the radio. An then seen smoke. So I pulled over to check it out and by time I pulled off the sides could only smell couldnt see nothing wrong. So I go to start car it starts fine and drives fine. But now my windows dont work. My turn signals dont show and on my dash the cel and srs light are really dim. An when I use my turn signal the rpms start acting dumb. An now it idles rough. Any idea's? I checked ecu and did not spot any burnt marks or nothing. I did see some wire showing on the plugs going into the ecu, looks like he did bad job taping them.

Did you check your fuses? I always like to start simple . Could have shorted something and popped a fuse maybe.

Well I found out that one of my plugs on my ecu looks like it was done by someone blind. But I am going to fix that issue and then go to the fusses. Would a fuse make my car idle weird just by turning a turn signal on?

Sounds like some bad wiring could be the problem. Maybe something shorted out? Look for burnt wires.

Might have ruined the ground wiring for your turn signals.

Where is the wire for turn signal? I can hear it blinking but it doesnt show in the dash. i am going to get a better look at wires tommow and check them. But when I turn signal on it makes my car idle weird idk why or even when I click for my brights to come on it does it to. So something in the wiring is acting bad. An I am going to check fusses to. I got a video if anyone is on dsm tuners on fb. Wont let me upload on here.

Ok so fixed the wiring problem. Now I only have problem with windows working, ac wont turn on, and lights in car dont work. Any idea's?

Check the Room fuse

There is a multiple-wire ground connection, using a bolt through eyelets, to the floor tunnel right below the ecu (behind the radio).

A ground coming loose shouldn't spark or smoke, but if this connection bolt is loose, it may have arc'd a bit and is no longer providing a good ground point.

The power window fuse is separate. It's located above the theft alarm fuses on the white junction block, above the standard fuse panel.
