2G 2g Rear upper knuckle bushings

Putting in rear upper knuckle polyurethane bushings. I have the oem bushing out but it seems theirs the hole at the top of the knuckle and then inside of this is a steel sleeve. Is the steel sleeve supposed to be cut out too or is this part of the knuckle? Just wondering cause im having a hard time pressing in the new bushings.

The bushing in the knuckles consist of a steel outer shell and a steel tube(what the bolt goes through) that are held together by vulcanized rubber. It all has to come out to install the poly bushing.

A sawzaw will cut a line down through it in 20sec or less. Then take a flathead and a large hammer and knock it out.
