so I bought a 2g GSX shell and have a problem with the power drivers seat. I need to know how to remove the seat without power to move it forward to remove the back two bolts.

Dang that sucks not much room. The rear seats are out right? The only thing I can say is to get your hand in there. There should be a way though to force the seat to move the seat. I'll try mine and see.

I have not seen a power dsm assy in about 8 years. You may be able to ubolt the motor and the slide it by force not sure though if i get a chance I will go look at the two shells i have with power seats. Have you tried to use an open end wrench? As I recall there is not enough room for one.

You also may be able to jump the motor. If not your going to have to plug up the harness.

You are not going to be able to force it. If you can throw it away, because your going to get hurt if you get in an accident.

As for the poster who said what if it broke. If you acuate the switch with power you can force the seat where you need it.
