So i have found some replacement leather seats for my talon. The ones in my car now on on there last leg. Anyway the ones i found claim to have a passenger power seat as well as driver. From everything that i have looked up, I've never seen power passenger seats. Anyone know anything about this.

Ive never actually seen one, but I know under my passenger seat there is a cut in the carpet with a plug like it would be for a power seat. Ive actually wondered the same thing but I haven't ever seen one. If you don't have that plug then just run a power and ground to make it work.

How will running power to a manual seat make it power? only the driverside came with power and thats on top end AWD 2G's. There are plugs under your pass seat for the stock amp. If your thinking the lil 2 wire plug is that for power, it plugs into the seat belt.

Now if your passenger side seat has electrical switches like the Driverside has, then I stand corrected. But as far as I know only the driverside came with that option.

Thats what i thought too, that only the drivers side was power. But what I was saying is that if by some chance the passenger seat is power then running the wires could hook it up. The wires under my passenger seat, now that you say that do look like they would go to an amp. I would go look at the seats or get pictures to find out if the passenger seat is power, But i don't think there was every that option.

Well There is the two wire plug for the seat belt. Dunno exactly how it works, but its meant to plug to the seat belt. I unhook mine cause I don't use the bottom seat belt most the time, just the automatic seatbelt :D Yeah I'm an idiot.

I believe the seat belt sensor works off a ground where when the seat belt is plugged in there is no ground there fore the light or buzzer wont be on. I could be wrong and some one correct me if I am.

DSMs did not have a power passenger seat. And only the driver's lower cushion is powered on the ones that are. I don't know why the hell they bothered.
