2G - Need Clutch Slave Cylinder Info.

When I pulled the boot back on the slave cylinder their was fluid and my clutch pedal is really soft to shift gears, should i replace it?

If your Slave Cylinder is leaking, you should definitely replace it. This is a pretty quick job and the parts are not expensive, just remember to bleed the system out thoroughly afterward.

I assume you were looking at the slave cylinder for a reason… or maybe you were just checking it out while you were doing some other work? Or did your clutch pedal get soft over time?

Well im pretty sure its leaking, When you pull the boot back should it be bone dry? Yeah these past couple weeks i noticed it has gotten soft and i was having a liitle trouble getting into gear so i started trouble shooting. My clutch fluid is border line black aswell, dark grey.

yeah it sounds like u need a new oneand make sure u bleed it good or it'll just act the same way pretty easy fix though....good luck
