2g mas on 1g car

has anyone put a 2g MAS on there 1g if so did you get any more power i know you have to upgrade to 550 injectors i just figured more air + more fuel = more power

Most people with 1g's upgrade to it.

I myself have a 2g MAS and 550's.

Easy to hook up. I suggest an AFC and datalogger to tune it out though...you might run into some problems.

did you get any power increases i have a n/t so i cant overload the stock maf unless i used one bis @ss shot of nx

You're going to run extremely lean if you switch to the 2g MAS. Probably hit fuel cut REALLY quick.

the whole purpose is to throw more air into the mix, along with more fuel from bigger injectors, or an AFC. which creates more power.

I'd say dont even bother with n/t...unless you have some way to tune.

The ECU starts fuel cut based on airflow only. Reading a lower air flow with a 2g mas will keep you from hitting fuel cut...but you are running lean and can blow the motor...fuel cut working=safety. Disable it and ya are playing with fire if you don't know what you are doing.
