So I've spent the last few days doing some reading up on the kiggly manumatic mod and just trying to get a grasp of the wiring and issues people raised. It seems that the 2g guys have left this mod alone, or at least the ones smart enough to do it without posting :banghead:

Anyways it seems fairly straightforward, however, in one post I can't seem to find anymore, a guy mentioned to be careful locking the torque converter up, and he didn't really elaborate on it much more. Now I understand you don't want it locked up while you're putting down power, but how would I go about controlling it? And to what wire? Just a switched 12v lead?

And also I'm still a little unclear on the starter solenoid wiring configuration. It sounds like "Starter Solenoid from key" should come from the park switch off the PRNDL assembly and the "Out to starter solenoid" should just run off to the solenoid. I could just use some clarification on this before I go jumping wires around.

Ok from what I gather from this post Here, the torque converter lockup solenoid is controlled by a 12v lead. The plan is to run a switch from the cabin to the red wire shown in the Kiggly Schematic and only run this while cruising.

If anybody sees anything wrong with this let me know, thanks.

Unfortunately I never got to this because my trans took a shit on me the other day. However I've done more research since posting and this does seem like the route to go. You can even harvest the proper connectors off a junk car and make a wiring harness to make this mod temporary.
