I just installed a Front mount intercooler alont with an EGT guage and a MAFT with 3in. GM MAF. After everything was hooked up i put Aux on 4 and Base on 2 for 450cc Injectors for my car. The car will start but idles like crap and dies at every stop sign and almost stalls out just when idleing. I can't get a good idle, it is erratic and stalls. I have been messing with some of the second know, which is idle but its not helping my idle really. Can anyone help me? I need some answers pretty quick. This is my daily driver. I did have one boost leak cause i blew one of the couplers off the intercooler but have since checked them all and tightened them. I don't feel or hear any leaks. So i am stumped. Please ask some questions and hopefully someone will have some answers for me. It is a 97 AWD talon and im pretty sure the MAFT is 2.02, possibly 2.03 if there is one at this point. I will look tomorrow. Thanks and sorry for the long post! Sorry i do not have a logger at this time. It was suppose to be here same day as intercooler but im still waiting for it.

Without a logger, your basically shit out of luck. First and formost did you do a boostleak test? This means using a compressed air and pressurizing your system. Is the MAFT in blowthrough or drawthrough? My guess is drawthrough.

It is a blow thru. The gm Maf is located just before the throttle body. When i get my logger which i hope comes today, what should i be looking for? What are regular operating conditions for a 2g in other words. So i can compare whatever read out i may get.

Sorry, you can close this topic, i figured out what it was. I couldnt' really see it till today but one of my throttle body gaskets was not lined up and i was dumping air right there. Got it straight and my idle problems cleared right up. Sorry for the waste of space.
