When I start the car, everything looks fine. When I WOT it even at Idle, it causes the blinking green light to appear (meaning "Loss of RPM Signal"). This makes it go into a 'backup mode', preventing me from adjusting my WOT setting. I have the old 1.36ver so maybe it has something to do with it.

Can I use the RPM signal from the ECU instead of the CAS? Maybe that will help alleviate it. It's so annoying to see all of a sudden 22counts of knock just becuase it goes into the backup mode. Any suggestions (besides the obvious of selling it and going with a different setup)?

thanks,

Check your wiring.. Connections and which wire. Then check the CAS..

OK! I wired it directly to the RPM wire on the ECU. And I "THINK" its working now. The green light now coresponds to my throttle tapping at idle (dim to bright depending on how hard i tap). Is this correct? I would hate to run the wire like this and not be set correctly. Thoughts?

The new instructions say dim at idle and bright at 1000 RPM so looks good. It may go dim at cruise and back to bright when in then MID range. Looks good! Mark

Yes, that sounds normal. Sweet97 is correct on what it usually does, I haven't watched mine for a while, but that sounds right to me. I would also get the upgraded chip if I were you. :thumb:
