2g maf tuning

my friend has a 2g maf that he is selling to me, if i get 550's would i have to worry about any tuning or would i still have to?

yes, you have to compensate for those 550cc.... otherwise you'll be flooding your engine with extra fuel...

ok my biggest concern is will i be ok with out tuning? with the 2g maf and 550s?

you can do it but, you WILL need something to balance out the 2g maf, like SAFC because of the increased Air Flow

There are many threads on the 2gMaf/550cc discussion. Some have said they work well together and have no "problems" If you want to do it right, you'll get a logger and something to tune with(at least an afc)
