I am trying to get my car ready for a tune but I am having some issues and I do not know if it is because of Speed Density setup or what.
Car idles fine startup and it idles about at the rpm I want.
My issue is this, when trying to get the ISC in range say to 30 it will not budge. The lowest I can get it is to 46 and it seems to be stuck at that, unless I give it gas or turn on headlights etc fans kick on and then it will change to a higher number and then bounce around and when those go off it will drop back down to 46.
Also, while driving when coming to a stop, or backing up, it will sometimes stall unless I give extra gas. It will even stall if I am say at 4k rpms and let off the gas while in neutral, the RPM's will fall dramatically below 1k and sometimes stall out or recover. Also, while headlights, radio and heater are on the rpms will drop not enbough to kill it, but enough to notice.
It is really annoying and could be potentially dangerous.
I sent in my ecu to be evaluated by The guys at ecmtuning. They gave my ecu a clean bill of health and said there is no issues with it. I replaced my ISC with a brand new one, and I am still getting this issue( which is why i am writing this).
I am vented to atmosphere. Using Tial 50mm bov, mods are up to date. Maybe this is my issue I don't know.
I read that the FIav could be an issue? or the SAS screw on my throttle body? Maybe since its a rebuilt one it is not set properly?
I have not adjusted any speed density values or timing or fuel tabs because I was trying to get this ready to be professionally tuned but he will not do it until it is 100% which I understand so I am trying to get this done, just need some guidance / help.
Here are 2 logs from tonight.
Looking forward to feedback.
