1G 2g INTAKE/MAF install on a 1g?

Once you have the 2G MAF, you will need to get a plug for it either from a stock 2G or the power transistor of a 1G. The instructions for wiring it can be found at:

Besides that, you need to figure out a way to connect the MAF to the turbo. The 2G MAF is 4" and the stock 1G rubber intake pipe is only 3".

You can go and get a injen intake, or a knock-off from e-bay, but it won't sit right (you could jam it in there if you want). Or you can go with dejontool intake pipes. They will run you about $140. You can find those at:

You could rig it up like I did and make a plate for the 2G MAF and use the stock intake. Here are some pics of my hellish creation. It works and it is cheap.

Finally, after you install it you will run leaner because the 2G MAF is bigger and flows more air for the same MAF counts, so you will need to compensate for that somehow. Get 550s and/or and SAFC.
