Resolved 2G Injector wiring issues

So i deleted my injector resister pack took it right out of the bay. our ecus can run low imp and high imp injectors and i will be running a high imp injector.

Question is there are two wires to each injector. 1 wire runs to the ECU, the other runs to the resistor pack. Can I remove that wire that runs to the pack with no problems? makes no sense on why people are saying no, so i want a true answer as to why.

No, you cannot just remove the wires that go to the resistor pack. You need to take your plug and cut it off the resistor pack and then connect all 5 wires together and then plug it back in. Why you ask?...

Because one of those five wires at the resistor pack connector is a power wire and without it your fuel injectors will not receive power. The ECU just gives a negative pulse from the injector driver, it's not what's actually supplying power to the injectors.

Also, if you're really lazy, or you think you might want to leave the resistor pack and plug together in case you ever switch back to low impedance injectors you could purchase one of these.

From the MFI relay (for power).

It's just a +12V wire coming from the main wiring harness. It actually connects with a few different +12V circuits within the harness like the mpi relay, wastegate solenoid, airflow sensor, and cas as you can see from the following wiring diagram.
