Resolved 2G Headlight Connector

Replacing the headlights in my 2g and bought OEM replacements from rockauto and I cant get the factory headlight harness to plug into the new headlight.

Does the plug at least look like it matches? Check to make sure terminals aren't bent. I've had to file down plastic on cheap HID bulbs that wouldn't fit.

Yes, the connectors are identical, terminals aren't bent. Going to go file down the little plastic hook and see if that works.

Take it slow with the filing and try to figure out where it's binding. Worst case scenario, you have to buy different bulbs.

Ok so I figured it out. On my car at least, the stock headlight tabs were actually bent up or closer to the orange clip then the OEM ones from RockAuto so I had to slightly bend the tabs up for them to fit properly.
