Ok so I messed up and had to splice the b69 rear harness connector but the year was different and the wires didn't quite match up but that's all I have to work with and I ended up with a green with red stripe and a green with blue stripe from the 95 rear harness and from the other connector a black with white stripe. I can tell one is brake light and I believe other is blinker but I don't know where to wire them to. Please help

Do you have pictures to share of each side of the connector you’re working with?

You only mention one is from a ‘95. What year is the other one from?

What were you trying to accomplish by splicing the connector onto your harness? What was the reason you had to do it?

The original connector was cut and messed up and I cut it off like an idiot not thinking about the different year parts car . Guy said it was a 99 gst

These are the ones I spliced

These 2 wires are left from the harness side and I traced them to rear lights

I think one is for brake light

Hang in there. It takes a little bit of time to review everything for a 19-position connector across two model years.

Are you also wondering about the blue connector or are you good there?

It may be helpful, it may not be - but I looked at a 1996 Eclipse and a 1998 Eclipse manual and they show exactly the same information for the B-69 connector.

I don’t have a full 1995 or 1999 electrical manual. I would assume that the 1995 was close enough to the 1996. I would assume that the 1998 was close enough to the 1999.

1 - black w/ white, to antenna motor assemble connector (pin here changed between model years)
2 - none
3 - thin red w/ black, to door lock power relay 2
4 - green w/ white, for right rear combination and side marker light
5 - none
6 - none
7 - red w/ black, rear luggage compartment light and CD auto changer
8 - none
9 - orange, for left side door switch
10 - thick blue, to rear wiper motor
11 - red w/ green, to right and left door switches
12 - none
13 - none
14 - thick black w/ red, for rear defogger (+)
15 - none
16 - none
17 - blue, audio related, multiple items
18 - yellow w/ black, left side seat belt buckle switch
19 - red w/ blue, for back up (reverse) lights

Is the ‘95 a Talon?

Perhaps a little more helpful, the 1997 Talon manual shows at pin 8 a thinner green w/ blue for the left side rear combination light, ultimately for the hazards. Pin 12 is a thinner green w/ red for the same purpose on the right side.

Yea mine is a 95 and I appreciate that map out for the pins

yes its a 95 talon and the rear harness it self is oem i just have the plug out of a 99 and whats strange is i think i have a 99 ecu its black sealed unit and i also have another ecu but i dont know what year it is not sure is they are user friendly plug and play or if they need vin flashed.

i dont have power antenna so that explains the black/w striped wire. and i will add pin 8 and 12 for the hazards as im still using the oem fuse box with the little box that plugs into the bottom

yes good on the blue connector the wires were same

I added connectors to 8 and 12 have tested yet but the connectors were proper size and locked into the plug good. I have found another splice in the rear looks like it's for the entire rear lights and washer fluid pumps etc. but however the wires look off to me and may need re done

See the Xtra 3 from 95 rear harness and extra 1vfrom the other side (blue orange stripe

Just trying to follow along, are you asking another question or is the issue resolved?
The is is same issue it's just the other end I located that was already spliced

Extra wires and some of these were 2 wires to 1vwire and that can't be correct

Not resolved. The same rear harness. This is where it appears to be where it was spliced for the lights and windshield wiperbfluid pumps

These wires are the Xtra ones after color matching the rest red with black stripe,
Red with white stripe, and green

These three “extra” wires are on the 1995 Talon rear harness?

Did you trace what each one goes to, specifically?

Red w/ black — ?
Red w/ white — ?
Green — ?

Does the car have Talon or Eclipse rear end / tail lights?
