Resolved 1991-1994 CAS Harness Connector

The 1g (91-94) cas harness connector is a little bit of a PIA to locate in a junkyard to begin with, but most of the ones I came across were so brittle with heat cycling that they broke as soon as I touched them. Is anybody aware of a replacement for this type of connector or a shop that sells them new? I see several vendor selling the 1g to 2g CAS adaptor and I don't believe they build them using used connectors, nevertheless when inquiring about it I never got an answer (I guess trying to protect their business?). Any input would be highly appreciated.

Nope just salvage yard nothing else will work its a specific connector or a a specific piece try salvage yards, i get them whenenver i go usually a few around.

I used a TPS plug and notched the bottom to fit the cas, and then epoxyed the terminals in. works like a charm and looks nice too. just a thought.

I just pulled up a wiring diagram, got some spade connectors and some wire. Traced down the wires and matched them up on the CAS threw some electrical tape over the connector and it works like a charm, not the best looking but it works for me at the moment

You could also try dsm graveyard they sell the clip with a pigtail but last time I checked they were out of stock.

I'd have to do some looking around to pull the veiw of the connector up again but if I'm able to find it ill post it for you

I am familiar with that page. I will have to try the Hynday pigtails, their connectors are usually sturdier than the ones found on Mitsibishis.
