Ok, so I asked on another forum, and thought I would post here, and get some other feedback. Over the winter, I plan on a new built head, with new hg and hardware. But my question is this. . .

Mods are in my profile, but here is a short rundown. . .

1995 TSI AWD, Stock Internals, Ported 2G Manifold w/ Tial 38MM WG, Custom 3" O2 Housing, E3B16 Ported, 3" Custom Exhaust, 850CC FIC Injectors, Walbro 255 FP, Aeromotive AFPR, Injen Intake w/ K&N, 2G Maf, Spearco FMIC 2.5" Piping, HKS SSQV BOV, DSMLink V3, XTD Stage 4, Eibach Pro Kit, tons of other custom/misc. mods.

I upgraded my springs in my EWG to equal 18ish psi, but instead hits 20. Will my stock head and hg hold 20psi on an evo3 big 16g? All maintenance is done, and motor is healthy. I plan on getting headstuds just as reassurance, but do not really wanna replace headgasket at this moment in time. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

Your HG will let go with big cylinder pressure spikes which result from knock. If you can run this with minimal to zero knock you will be fine.

I only got knock when I adjusted my fuel to set my afr. But since I zeroed out the sliders, I get no knock now. So if itll be good, then great!
