2g gst goes super lean when letting off the throttle?

ok i have a 97 gst stock i had just replace my upstream o2 sensor because it was completely dead and not working anymore it even threw a cel code and before the o2 died it use to run rich once i gas it and let off the throttle it'll stay full rich and evens out again to 14.8-15.1 and now that ive replaced it with the new o2 sensor when i gas it it goes rich and when i let off the throttle it stays super rich than it moves its way to super lean and stays there until i gas it again and it does the same thing over unless i let it sit at idle for acouple of minutes than it goes back to normal reading 14.8-15.1

It cuts fuel when over 1500rpm and zero throttle. Also when your o2 was bad it was running from just the tables, now it actually is using the o2 sensor.

When your above a certain rpm and you let completely off the throttle its supposed to cut fuel until you give it gas again or you get close to idle rpms. Unless I read something wrong I pretty sure its acting as it should.

thats exactly how its supposed to work. when you let completely off the throttle at speed, the ecu cuts fuel to the engine until you hit the gas or hit idle rpm. no fuel being sent into the engine equals super lean cause nothing but air is going through it.
if it acted any different before you fixed the sensor then it was likely a problem caused by the bad sensor.

ok so im guessing this is normal? i did a datalog reading on my dsmlink v3 but no clue how to read it and also my tps is showing full throttle only 77% im guessing thats normal? well here is a data log of my reading http://s1111.photobucket.com/albums/h479/yoshidawg/?action=view&current=datalog.png

When your tps is saying 77% when you're going full throttle you should check your cable setting. If that doesn't work you need to adjust your tps:
