Ok guys/gals im in need of help choosing a clutch kit that best fits my needs. I have been doing alot of research these past few months over which particular clutch kit I should purchase here on tuners but I have found mostly advice threads on cars with/over 350-400WHP and moslty AWD 1g 6-bolt models. My car is a 96 GST with a 7-bolt with minor modifications (listed below) and I use it probably 2-3 days out of the week just to cruise around maybe an little racing action once a month it all depends. Mostly a daily driver in a way. My goal is 300WHP when I get it tuned but alot of people been telling me my dreams are kinda too high and at most I will get 250WHP at most since we are at a pretty high altitude here (Colorado). Im gonna try my hardest to get near 300WHP at no more than 20psi (22 psi if im really close haha). I have narrowed it down to the clutches listed below due to my whp dream goal. Keep in mind durability/reliability and best performance is what I am looking for. If any fellow tuner out there has delt or has had any problems with these clutches post it up ###!!! I will be replacing my TOB with an OEM TOB, clutch fork, pivot ball, and the slave cylinder regardless of the clutch kit.

3" Tsudo Turbo-back ("Cat Eliminator"),

I have been up to date on my maintainance from engine to suspension. It has 124,XXX miles.

Clutch kits suited for my goal-
ACT HD2100 with street disc (I have heard endless complaints about these)
Centerforce non dualfriction
Clutchmasters FX100, FX200
Fidanza 2.1 carbon kevlar, 3.2 kevlar
Spec stage 1

If there is any questions about anything, comments, critisism on my ride, suggestions on how I did something wrong, corrections on my grammer I dont care please feel free to post I need advice thank you!!!!!

 Come on guys anyone out there?? Geez ha ha

The Fidanza 3.2 will be a bit overkill for your situation.
I am currently running a Centerforce Dual Friction and it has THE lightest clutch pedal feel I have ever tried . . . might be even lighter than stock (it's kinda weird).
The ACT2100 would probably be more than sufficient (so long as ACT has gotten their re-design of the clutch hub figured out). I personally will not run ACT again though due to their lack of customer service.

Fidanza - top notch.

try a southbend stage 3 SS full kevlar tz with a SS pressure plate there SS Pressure Plate has the same 2600 clamp load as act

I agree with Paul, the South Bend Clutch SS-Series pressure plate with the TZ-Series kevlar full-face sprung clutch disk is an excellent street clutch that will handle the power that you are putting down while keeping a very light clutch pedal.

The clutch is very forgiving, while strong enough to take quite a bit of abuse, and last quite a long time.

This clutch combination is very smooth engaging, and has no chatter.

There are several vendors selling this clutch combination around.

If you have any other questions, please feel free to PM me and I will be happy to help you out!

Thanks,
