2g foglights help!!!

i am trying to change the h3 bulb in the foglights to some new silver stars but the big bolt to remove the foglights from the car are rusted and the screwdriver cannot grip it....ive pb blaster it 3 days but it still wont move or it still just wears out the head of screw...anyone have any idea what i could do??

You're gonna have to destroy that bolt somehow without damaging the lamp. Hopefully you can get a new one in and have it hold afterwards.

Weld a nut on it and wrench it out. Or try using a screw extractor.

i had the same problem. But you have an eclipse, so i think your foglights are different.
my screws broke and i was able to use a vise grip to take the fog light assembly off the bracket. my bracket screws broke also, . Now i have to drill then heilcoil them. I tried screw extractor but i couldn't get them out.
IF they break try to leave some of the screw sticking out you can use pliers to unscrew them. I didnt have to take off my bumper.

mine had the same problem i pb balsted it and heated it till it got red then it came out with realy easy

You can do 2 things that will work 1) Get a screw extractor set or 2) Drill it out either way your gonna have to get a new screw for it which you can pick up at a local hardware store.
