Hello,
I have a 2G Talon (so this is an OBDII related post) and I have tried numerous times to get it to pass smog test and when they connect their computer to my car it indicates "not ready".
I do not have a CEL lit but the ECU indicates it is not ready. (I have tried a spare ECU and it does the same thing).
I am wondering if anyone knows the exact factory driving sequence I need to put my car through that will allow the ECU to reset fully.
I recently replaced my ECU and and IAC because the IAC shorted and tool out my ECU (Think lots of smoke). My pocket logger indicates everything is OK and there are no error messages.
In order to pass smog test the ECU must be in the ready state and my tags are now expired so I need to know the driving sequence required for the ECU to be in the ready state.
Help me out here if you can before I go crazy.
