Spyder 2G Eclipse Spyder 4G64 2.4L ECU Compatibility 1997-1999

I'm planning to replace my 1998 Eclipse Spyder GS 2.4L engine with another 2.4L also from an Eclipse Spyder. No turbo, no DOHC, just the same SOHC like the Spyder GS' came with stock. Is my current ECU (1998) compatible with a 1997 or 1999 2.4L 4G64 if I find one from either of those years to use? Or will I have to find another 1998 just like my current engine? Thanks!

Do you know of any sensor differences within those 3 years? I've heard there may be a throttle body difference after 1997 but I haven't been able to confirm
