2G 2g eagle talon vibration problem

Hi everybody, i have a problem with my 2g eagle talon 1996 awd 4g63 manuel.

There is a vibration arround 2500-3500 rpms. i can feel it when idle or driving normally. the sound is same idling or cruisng. Engine mounts seem good but it feels like the engine touch to chasis or something like that.(2500-3500 rpms)
Anybody meet this problem? what can i do?

Did you check all 4 motor mounts? Are you saying you can or can't feel it at idle too? Just looking at the motor mounts really won't do much. Unless there's a huge noticeable tear. The best way is to have someone put the car into 1st then reverse a few times. While you watch with the hood open. You should see the motor shift and probably be able to see which mount it is. Another way is using a large prybar, and try moving the mount that way. How many miles on the car? Are they the original motor mounts? It could also be the driveshaft ujoints or the carrier bearings. I would check over all these parts.

thanks for reply. my car is no 39.500k miles(orginally) mounts are never changed.

Check the one by the timing belt I had a Vibration when that one split after a pull that would rattle filings out. Have you had a timing belt done recently I know some cars get weird if the balance shafts are not timed properly.

There might be something loose . Check all your bolts for the alternator , a/c compressor and pulley . Just go around and check everything . Use a helper while you rev the engine he might spot the problem . Another thing is maybe your balance shaft is out of time .

so your saying it vibrates when you rev up the motor to 3k at a stand-still? if so its probably not body/suspension related. i agree with lou98gsx just start goin over things in the bay to start with and check those mounts like dsmkauai said.
