Ok I have read alot of threds on here before I even started this post. I don't have a word prosser "wordperfect" I tryed opening the links but my computer will not alow me to open them.

Ok here is my problem. I have a 1995 Eagle Talon TSI Awd 5spd. I just set up my car for a Dejon intake with a 3" GM MAF sensor, with the sensor behind the blow off valve, so my blow off valve blow's off into the air. I just got my MAF translator today and need help setting it up so my car will Idle and run. What are the setting's for this unit with stock turbo and injectors. The only real mod's are the Dejon intake and 3" turbo back exaust.
Please help:confused:

AUX=? DlpSw "MODE" 1,2,3,4 ???? BASE=? IDLE=? MID=? WDT=?

Well right now I have my AUX=4 Base=2 Idle=0 mid=0 wdt=0
Mode I have #1 on and 2-4 off. It's idleing ruff

I don't have a aif/fuel datalogger so I"m kinda in the dark with adjusting it.

Anybody have any Idea's....??????

Which translator do you have? Gen I, II, III? Either way, if you ware stock everything anyways, zero out the translator and you should be fine for now. The only problem is that you need some sort of data logger so that you can view your fuel trims (air flow is different and how it's read so your trims will be off), and a wideband for WOT. Until you get those things, I honestly would just zero them out and run it easy.

On a 2g with a 3" GM MAF and DSMlink, it will be set at AUX = 4, BASE = 2 (for stock injectors), and everything else at zero or OFF. This is because you will use DSMlink to control the injector size as well as any tuning you will do. You also don't need to hook up either of the 2 wires coming off the MAFT. I'm running a MAFT setup with DSMlink and this is how mine is setup.

The only thing is that I don't have a dsm link or any other monitoring system right now. I just ordered a Greddy E-manigment system but I don't have it here yet. So I"m kinda in the dark

Aux =4 Base =2

Leave the rest at 0

That will set it up for stock injectors...Jim

You will probally have to play around with the idle switch to get it to idle normal but the rest you will need to leave alone unless you get a logger to log with to read your o2 readings and read your timing. But like i said you will be safe just mess with the idle till you get a decently smooth idle. I would ad fuel first then if it doesnt clear up some then take away some fuel but not much as you dont want to lean your car out.

Thank you I will try that. I'm not really going to drive the car so much, or far on tell my Greddy E-manigment gets here.

hi everyone, i know this thread is old but i need some help, you can see all the mods on my profile, keep in mind that it has the dsmlink but i dont have a laptop and the cable between the laptop and the obd2 and no experience on dsmlink or any type of tuning.
I want to install the gm maft cause ive maked a custum intake pipe that delete the stock maf and i take the cold air right to the fog lamp bezel. So i have to install the gm maft, i know how to install but i need some help to set it properly to match all the mods.
Any idee?
Thanks!
