2G 2g Crank Position Sensor all the same?

Are all the 2g crank position sensors the same?

Friend of mine has a spare 2ga crank position sensor (the cars that have the cam and crank position sensors inside the timing cover) and I have a 99 with the cam position sensor on the opposite side of the car like a 1g. DO they both use the same crank position sensor?

Yes they are the same. You should familiarize yourself with mitsubishi asa software. You can lookup part numbers and see what changes by build date. You can also cross reference models.
