2g Cold Air Intake

Alright listen, this is stupid....but I was wondering what is a good intake for a lower price...I was lookin at some and theyre all 100+ and then I see the ones at ebay and are for 25$ Whats the difference? Any reccomendations for lower priced quality ones? I don't know what to do.

well if your profile was filled out so we knew what car u drove it would help in answering the question..

I picked up a 4.5" cone air filter off ebay w/ adapter for 10 bux and 15 shipping. It has worked great so far.

I just picked up a 95 talon tsi. runs good $3600 fully loaded minus leather seats...

TSi means turbo so you can't use a cold air intake. You can use an open air intake which just removes the stock air box and a mas adapter.

You wanna get one w/ a 4.5" air filter, not the smaller 3" ones.

Only difference might be longevity. I've had no issues w/ mine and build quality actually looked decent so I say go for the ebay ones. If you ahve to replace it in 2 years, it's still cheaper and you will already have the adapter so you just need a new filter.

btw.. I paid 1200 for my 95 TSi AWD..

Here's an intake, but you'll still need the adapter plate and generic open air filter that you can get pretty cheap from E-Bay.-Phil
